Color pictures for Steel Panthers I, Steel Panthers III (and SPWW2) games
Ultimate release: 12. 07. 2003
Since 1.2 release we have much improved our color pictures, with far better quality and enhanced color palette. I believe this is the ultimate effect, that can be squeezed out of poor SP-1 palette. Most of the pictures in 1.2 got improved since previous releases, so you should install them all. Many come in several variants.
In current 1.5 release we've added some pictures, and improved some existing pictures, so we suggest to install them all again. Have fun!

In our pack there are over 400 color pictures (including alternatives) - most of SP-1 tanks and aircraft, replacing original ugly black&white pictures.
Their quality is different - but I think they're quite nice... ;-)
Since 1.4 release we've tried to keep the same shade of camouflage in the same countries.
Notice: If you want to use our improved pictures with SPWW2, you must change the pictures' names from p0xxx.lbm
to pm00xxx.lbm.
You should copy / unzip all the pictures into "PIC" sub-folder of your "Steel Panthers" I or III game.
Warning! These pictures will overwrite the older and original ones, so if you want to keep them, you should make a backup copy of your "PIC" subfolder. We reccomend to manage pictures with a browser. Read the attached text file!.

Since we have covered almost all the range, the development of the pack has been closed. However, if anyone is interested in further developing Steel Panthers-based games, I can work any desired pictures. I also got some miscellaneous pictures, that don't appear in SP-1. If you're interested in any particular items - mail me - I may have it.
